Jharkhand: Ninth day of Unlock-3: Two more corona infected killed in the state, two patients succumbed to TMH; 17,753 positive cases so far

Two more corona-infected patients died in Jamshedpur on Sunday. The dead included 54 years old resident of Old Purulia Road in Mango and 69 years old resident of Dhatkidih in Bishtupur police station area. Mango patient was admitted to TMH on August 3 after fever, cold-cough and breathing problem. At the same time, the patient of Bishtupur was also brought here for treatment on August 7 after complaining of breathlessness and fever.

In the past 24 hours, a record 1086 new corona patients have been confirmed in Jharkhand. There are 412 patients from Ranchi alone. The patients found in Ranchi include 40 employees of CM House, 73 prisoners of Ranchi Jail, 7 police personnel of Daily Market Police Station and 110 people of Police Line. The number of infected people in the state has now reached 17,753 with new patients. So far, 223 people have died from Corona, while so far 8325 people in the state have returned home after beating Corona.

No place to keep positive patients in jail

There is no proper place to keep positive prisoners in the jail. The number of prisoners already lodged is more than 3 thousand. Till now, after receiving a total of 106 positive patients in jail, the problem of jail superintendent has increased significantly. Jail superintendent Hamid Akhtar has pleaded for the DC and SSP to make proper arrangements to keep positive patients, but no one is willing to listen. On the other hand, a bodyguard and driver of City DSP Amit Singh and a bodyguard of Sadar DSP Deepak Kumar Pandey have also been found to be corona positive. On the other hand, the investigation report of 3 police officers and 4 jawans has also received positive from Daily Market Police Station.

Corona infection has spread in the police line

A sample of 200 jawans residing in the police line was taken for investigation, out of which 110 investigation reports came to Corona positive on Saturday. After receiving positive reports of a large number of soldiers from the barracks, the soldiers are upset. Now even the healthy jawans have started to fear getting infected by the corona virus. Positive soldiers will be sent to the displaced building in Jagannathpur. Sergeant Major RK Ranjan said that other policemen who came in contact with positive soldiers would also be identified and sampled for investigation.

Plasma stock in RIMS zero, donor not coming even on call

The treatment of RIMS has recently started with plasma therapy, which is considered effective in preventing corona infection and saving the lives of patients in the state. But the biggest problem is that donors are not available. On Saturday, a man from Dhanbad died in Rims. HOD doctor of trauma center Pradeep Bhattacharya said that he decided to give plasma, but he did not get the plasma. Two people donated plasma after his death.

Corona infection has reached to all 24 districts of the state

The death toll from corona across the state is 225 while the total number of infected people in the state is 17,753. Total 8325 patients have been healthy in the state

A total of 8325 people have been recovered from corona infected patients in the state. These include 191 in Bokaro, 195 in Chatra, 348 in Deoghar, 552 in Dhanbad, 70 in Dumka, 847 in East Singhbhum, 312 in Garhwa, 670 in Giridih, 167 in Godda, 153 in Gumla, 508 in Hazaribagh, 93 in Jamtara, 60 patients in Khunti, 406 in Koderma, 240 in Latehar, 213 in Lohardaga, 127 in Pakur, 351 in Palamu, 342 in Ramgarh, 1460 in Ranchi, 115 in Sahebganj, 154 in Saraikela, 487 in Simdega and 264 patients in West Singhbhum healthy. Has returned home.

Jharkhand Police Coronavirus Update
